Happy Halloween everyone! My wife and I did our partying on Saturday. But this is our Friday, and we're exhausted.
I suggest you check out a few things if you're stuck at home too.
El Despertar by Katy Towell and Childrin R Skary on DAChrome Children Videos on [adult swim]Chris Hoffman on DAAndrew Bird - A Nervous Tick Motion of The Head to the Left from Bonnaroo LiveOk, go out and have a great night, if you're trick-or-treating.
( Unless of course you have children in which case. I hope you enjoy their candy.
)
But if you're staying home, there's always some great animation and art to watch online. Get cracking finding it. And send me some links for once!

Well, I've been creating a new site design for myself:
www.wild-things.com/bray/html/…It's not amazing, but I like the atmosphere on there.
Also, I have done a few more exclusive
Bakshi Interviews for the site. It's always exciting to hear what Bakshi has to say about contemporary animation and art. He's a classic!
Have you ever had the feeling that the things in your life have all been leading up to a moment, but you may have missed the moment while busying yourself with everyday life? I haven't... just asking...

So it seems to me that all journal entries are about what each individual likes. Most extreme case being the 20 questions crap. Anyway, I like Dj Shadow, but more than that, I like the combination of disparate elements into a cohesive substance.
I guess that's what I'd call music (or life or communication... etc). I've been listening to Danger Mouse and Dj Shadow a lot recently. Basically the concept of disparate combination intrigues me. If I could only combine the elements of my life, I'd get somewhere... right?
Well, maybe that's next year's resolution...

Years almost over. '06 will be something to remember, I can tell.
I've been editing the Ralph Bakshi site recently. Just minor edits. Nothing face altering yet. The Bakshi family are all hard at work on Last Days of Coney Island, their new feature film production.
I listed a $1200 Magic card (Black Lotus Unlimited for those who might care) on eBay the other day (id: wildthingsgames). That was the highlight of my job recently. I did get a couple $30 InuYasha TCG promo cards from Score Ent for judging their tournaments though. That's cool. Thanks to Erin Giddings of Score Ent for the additional promo binder too.
I don't know if any of you have heard of the game Flux? They have different versions of this fluxuating card game. (EcoFlux; StonerFlux; Etc.) It's a great game you guys should check it out. The company sent us three promotional cards. ("Christmas Tree" ; "Earth" ; "Peace on Earth") I thought that was pretty neat.
I've been seeing some very beautiful art coming out of the holiday season on DA. I guess it's that people have more indoor time to edit their work and scrutinize which works get submitted. Quality vs Quantity.
Thanks for reading. Updates the whole system soon....

I've added a journal
ARCHIVE to shorten up my main updated journal entry.
-8/18/05
Well, here I am. I submitted some dumb stuff yesterday, and I'm plannin some more dumb stuff today. However, I also submitted some shots to my friend's DA page. Check'em out. They ROCK!
I've updated all the sections of my Journal. I like the formatting style, you can use this type of formatting of your journal and have sections for each of your passions. Also, have your "News" update that remains on your DA mainpage. Feel free to credit me for the design... I got the idea to just update your main journal entry from.
Hmmm... what else. I have recently created a new website for an excellent band that I saw at the Salmon Days festival in Salem, Oregon this summer. Dynamic can be found at
DynamictheBand on Yahoo Geocities. They might get a pay site again someday, but for now, they are just working on separate projects. Soon I will add music and more images to their site. Definitely check it out. This band has changed my life... seriously...
Ok, too many updates this time. I'll get to the good stuff in my next update... Later...
Aeon Flux Film (Oh, forgot this)

I haven't updated in awhile. I will be submitting a few things tonight. Also, if anyone wants to be a part of the site I'm trying to make: Adult Animation History (just add the .com) If so, just note me or post your comment about what you would like to see on this journal entry.
Audioslave has a great new album. I'm also looking forward to Gorillaz and Tool's new albums. God I gotta start playin' guitar again. (deviation first, then guitar)
I just added a webcam to my mainpage. It will be funny sometimes. My cell phone, which was recently broken, was replaced the other day. The new one has a flipout keyboard to IM. I'm starting to think my connectivity level has gone beyond what is normally recommended. But I'm
loving it.
I just became a temporary admin at the Ralph Bakshi Forum www.ralphbakshi.com/forum . It's a great honor. I have had so much fun moderating for them and running the Fan Organization www.wild-things.com/bray/html/heavytrafficfanorganization.html .
I've been viewing the most wonderful accounts on DA!
You can visit some of my most recently viewed on my Friends list below. Please do...
I just added a Collections Section to the Links listed below my news. Go see how far I've gotten on listing my large CD collection. I've got some other collections listed there too.
I'll be posting more on DA soon. Maybe tonight or tomorrow. Enjoy!
Hey, there's this awesome website that is only now becoming a realization. Animation.com www.animation.com I've been IMing the designer of this site recently. There are some great things on the way. Please visit and watch the first animation on the site.
I just finished the Website Page for
Ralph Bakshi's new Heavy Traffic Fan Organization. Don't forget to visit the NEW-
www.ralphbakshi.com.
I am on my way to creating the first
Adult Animation History Archive. It's not up yet. If anyone can direct me to a cheaper server host, I'd be much obliged. Just IM or Email me with the link.
